OK. Short and to the point. How the heck is it that members of congress are actually trying to contend that it is not important, or even necessary, for them to completely read a bill they are voting on? Please, if anyone can make sense of this, let me know — because I think I must have been caught in some sort of vortex that has put me in the Twilight Zone (for you youngsters, that was a world class TV show — thank you Rod Serling). Can politicians really just say anything they want and the American public accepts it. I’m a simple man — please help me understand!
